Guerrilla Marketing Campaign by a dog spray company:
An enormous picture of a dog will be displayed in the mall. When people walk on the dog, it looks as if the dog has fleas. Content regarding a flea (get rid) product spray (marketing) will be found on the other side.
The creators of this wildly creative guerrilla marketing idea were inspired by an experience that we’ve all had: “The people all look like ants!” shouted someone standing in a skyscraper, looking out at the street. Replace the ants with fleas, and you’ve got the gist of Perwanal Saatchi & Saatchi’s brilliant Frontline Flea and Tick Spray concept.
There are a lot of cool things about this guerrilla marketing concept: shock value, interactivity, and sheer size and, of course, a friendly giant dog. Allowing your audience to participate in your joke not only builds goodwill toward your product and company but also increases the possibility that people will take photos and post them to social networks. Being a flea isn’t something that happens every day. Even though the headline “Get them off your dog” is not even necessary, it reinforces the product benefit (and because “them” refers to a particular group of people, it is even more humorous).
This was an idea that was sure to attract a lot of attention.
A simple campaign without too much expenditure and they used only floor stickers. An anti-flea product that is manufactured by a company called Frontline.
Things to learn from this campaign:
• If you keep a structure in front of a mall, that will incur a separate cost.
• Flooring costs are less expensive.
Floor stickers have been used in a lot of campaigns and succeeded.
How are you planning to incorporate Guerrilla marketing ideas into your business?
